The equipment was specifically designed for the Government and the requirement for parts and maintenance are part of an analytical system which cannot be manufactured or serviced by other companies. This is because software controls are proprietary property, patent and copyrights are owned by the manufacturer, Bruker Instruments Incorporated. Matching hardware, software and parts can only be supplied by the equipment manufacturer.
