U.S. Coast Guard, MLCPAC, Alameda, CA proposes to contract for the drydock & repairs to CGC Chase, a 378' high endurance cutter, homeported on Terminal Island in San Pedro, CA. All work will be performed at a facility capable of drydocking the cutter. Work will start on 24 Feb and complete on 11 Apr 1997. Work items will include; drydocking, underwater body preservation, sea valve & waster piece inspection, allied single point davit overhaul, motor surf boat davit overhaul & test, anchor windlass overhaul, controllable pitch propeller system maintenance, electric motor overhaul, ammunition elevator watertight door renewal, fixed ballast installation, evaporator overhaul, anchor windlass reduction gear inspection.
