Estimated Cost Range: $50,000-$100,000. Time for completion: 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. No document charge or deposit is required. Project involves: Enclose the existing covered dock, which is used primarily for Postal Service loading and unloading operations. Enclosure to consist of an insulated wall system, with new heavy-duty overhead and pedestrian doors. A permanently installed scissor lift and dock seal will be installed for unloading semi-trailer trucks. The four sets of existing double-acting vestibule doors will be replaced for security and weather protection. A permanent cover will be installed over existing ramp from the dock to grade. Mechanical/ electrical work includes new dock lift, rerouting exhaust ducts, relocating exis ting light fixtures at dock ceiling, and providing new light fixtures at dock ex ter ior. Construction shall be phased to provide dock services for Postal Servic e op eration throughout the term of the project.
