Concerns having the ability for providing community residential corrections facility(s) services and/or transitional services program for male and female Federal offenders. Interested offerors are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Line Item #1 will include Community Corrections Center Services in accordance with the Statement of Work, excluding Chapter 22. Line Item #2 will be used in accordance with the Statement of Work addressing Chapter 22 exclusively. Location of the facility shall be in the Beaumont, Texas area. Operational hotels/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Estimated total number of mandays are 21,900 for the base period, 10,950 mandays for the first, second and third option years respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is December 9, 1996, estimated closing date is February 7, 1997. Contract base period is 2 years, with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. Line Item #1 will be awarded; however, the Government reserves the right to choose whether Line Item 2 will be awarded.
