The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source fixed priced contract consisting of one base year commencing April 1997 and four, three month options with Firearms Training Systems (FATS) of Suwanee, GA to procure Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the maintenance of 544 currently fielded small arms training simulators, specifically, the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT) for the Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserve. The contract shall also cover the maintenance of 153 Individual Squad Trainer (IST)/Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) for the Marine Corps and Army National Guard.
