This announces the issuance of the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for operation and maintenance of two radar sites; BMEWS Site II, Clear AS AK and PARCS, Cavalier AS ND on or about 2 December 1996. The effort includes communications-electronics maintenance, supply, transportation and vehicle maintenance, food service, medical service, power plant operation, equipment calibration and civil engineering services. This RFP will be issued via a combiniation of electronic media and hard copy, unless otherwise requested. The RFP, Statements of Work (SOWs), and most of the attachments and exhibits will be issued on 3.5'' (Word 6.0 format) computer disks or be available via the 21st Contracting Squadron ''Home Page'', while certain attachments will be issued as hard copies. Offerors wishing to receive a complete hard copy or the information via 3.5'' disk must submit their request in writing to the Contracting Officer, 21 CONS/LGCXB, 135 E. Ent Ave, Ste 104, Peterson AFB CO 80914-1385 or fax the request to (719) 556-7396 before 25 November 1996.
