S -- DISPOSAL SERVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL, MISCELLANEOUS DEBRIS, AND SANITARY REFUSE AT THE NAVAL INVENTORY CONTROL POINT, MECHANICSBURG, PA Sol N62472-97-B-4101. Due 122396. The Government shall provide the labor and equipment to load, haul and dump the material at the contractor's landfill. Due to the fact that the government will be transporting the material to the landfill, offers will be accepted only from landfills within a forty (40) mile radius of the Naval Inventory Control Point. Offers received from landfills outside of this radius may be rejected as non-responsive. The Contractor shall provide facilities and arrange for the Navy's trucks and containers to be dumped without delay which exceeds 15 minutes. For each load delivered, the contractor shall provide a delivery ticket which shows the date, contract number, tare weight, gross weight, and net tons of the material. One copy of the delivery ticket will be given to the driver and one copy will be included with the contractor's invoice. All service furnished by the contractor shall be determined using the net tons of the material. With exception of 5 tons as minimum per container the contractor must accept all refuse material and debris without descretion as to size or weight and it shall be the contractor's full responsibility to assume liability for ensuring that recycling, disposal, interim storage methods by the contractor, subcontractor or end users are in compliance with all federal, state, local laws and zoning ordinances. Construction materials and debris shall consist of, but not be limited to; concrete bituminous, masonry, stone, wood, metal, plastic and glass. Miscellaneous debris and refuse shall consist of, but not be limited to; wood or metal partitions, pallets, paper, milled or crushed furniture, and appliances. Sanitary debris and refuse shall consist of food stuffs termed as Condition ``H'' in assorted packaging material. This is an indefinite quantity contract with a $25,100.00 minimum. The SIC code 4953 with a small business standard of 6.0 Million. Number of days in contract: 365 with an option to extend four years. Number of bid items: Five (five) with unit price schedule. This acquisition is unrestricted. (309)
