The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, materials, and services to give one-on-one career counseling to approximately 75 Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Headquarters personnel, yearly, five hours per person, in the Rockville, Maryland area. Periodically, but no more than twice a year, the contractor shall provide group counseling sessions in order to reinforce individual counseling activities. In addition, the contractor shall assist the NRC in conducting small and large group educational sessions related to career enhancement to remain current on career strategies/techniques, and provide career transition services agency-wide to all surplus or displaced employees. The contractor shall provide liaison and advisory assistance for the NRC career to ensure that all career counseling methods and procedures are consistent throughout the agency. The period of performance is one year, with 1 two-year option. A fixed-price requirements type contract is anticipated. Career counseling services is currently being performed by BEMW, Inc. under NRC contract number NRC-38-94-282 which expires 07/24/97.
