Defense Finance & Accounting Service, FSO seeks potential sources for personal computer-based software to capture, record and track informa- tion for DoD's International Merchants Purchase Card (IMPAC) program. software should capture data needed to track the cardholder's name, card number, item description and spending limit with a ''checkbook'' declining balance style. Software should allow for recording purchase date, document tracking numbers, merchant name and gov't accounting info. Software should be capable of automatic reconciliation between bank and cardholder balances, checkbook modules w/declining balance/ overdraw limits, automated draw-down against authorized funds, display of default accounting information, electronic approval of transaction, electronic transfer of reconciled statement to billing office, inter- acting w/local logistics/procurement systems, generating discrepancy reports. Software must operate in GUI and DOS-based environments; be year-2000 compliant; provide SQL/Ad Hoc query ability and protect from unauthorized access; be developed in open systems/portable language; be network-ready, record locking, & LAN compatible.
