73 -- A VARIETY OF RACKS, STOCKING CARTS, PLATFORM TRUCKS, BULK MOVERS, LUG RACKS, BAKERY RACKS, PLATTER RACKS, AND UNIVERSAL CARTS TO BE USED IN GROCERY STORE OPERATIONS SOL DECA01-97-B-0002 DUE 012297 POC Contract Specialist Sherry Redford (804) 734-8767 (Site Code DECA01) The Defense Commissary Agency intends to acquire six groups of a variety of carts and racks. Group I consists of egg/milk racks with zinc electroplated finish. Group II consists of ''U-Boats'' with a plastic deck, stainless steel lug racks, and aluminum and stainless steel bulk movers. Group III consists of ''U-Boats'' with a steel deck, various stocking carts and platform trucks, poultry dollies, wet transport carts, aluminum lug racks and nesting platform trucks. Group IV consists of stocking carts, potato and onion bin, various dollies, and storage basket racks. Group V consists of aluminum bakery racks with cover, aluminum universal carts, and stainless steel platter racks. Group VI consists of stainless steel universal carts. Groups will be independently evaluated on an all or none basis. Deliveries will be to various commissaries located in the continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). Award is to be made on a firm fixed price basis for an indefinite quantity type contract for a base period of one year with an option to extend the terms of the contract for 12 months. Solicitation will be issued on or about December 6, 1996, with a bid opening date on or about January 10, 1997. Solicitation is to be issued on an unrestricted basis.
