Vessel homepier is Charleston SC. Vessel availability schedule is on or about 24 February 97. Performance Period is scheduled for 63 calendar days. The work will be performed at the Homepier. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Orders must be placed within ten (10) days of solicitation issuance. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. For Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
