The proposed contractor has unique capabilities and prior experience and knowledge necessary to perform the following services: Interface multiple legacy environments ranging from UNIVAC/Sperry 1100X mainframes to desktop servers to a 4th Dimension client-server/multi-platform client application. This task requires broad knowledge of the complete computing environment, including networking on multi-platforms. The system interfaces are written in various generations of programming languages. The performer must be knowledgeable in not only multiple environments, but language generation-levels from machine language to 4GL.
