Z -- FY97 CRAB MITIGATION, GRAYS HARBOR, WASHINGTON SOL DACW67-97-B-0013 DUE 021497 POC Contract Specialist Leslie J Lovata (206) 764-6865 (Site Code DACA67) Contractor will obtain and place 5,000 cubic yards of oyster shell, with option to place up to an additional 5,000 cubic yards, at one or more locations in the South Channel of Grays Harbor. Shell will be place in piles up to 5-feet in height, roughly, evenly spaced through the placement site. Large patches of eel grass, if any, will be delimited by the Government, and contractor will avoid placement of shells in these locations. Contractor will be responsible to supply clean, dry, unbroken shell measuring not less than 2-inches across the cup in the shortest dimension. Any permits required to transport oyster shell into the Grays Harbor estuary will be the responsibility of the contractor. Plans and specs available on or about 14 January 1997 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available. Documents will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted.
