U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center - Washington Operations Office intends to issue a DRAFT Request For Proposal in support of the Program Executive Office, Standard Army Management Information Systems (PEO STAMIS). Commercial servers, desktops, notebooks, peripherals, network hardware/software, system support software, associated documentation and reports, and technical support services will be procured to meet worldwide STAMIS requirements. The required items are state-of-the-art technology capable of executing applicable STAMIS software applications under a Portable Operating System Interface for Computer Environments (POSIX) compliant operating systems. The estimated period of performance is 8 years, consisting of a 1-year base effort, and 7 one year option periods. It is anticipated that the DRAFT RFP will be released within 60 days on the U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center - Washington Operations Office's bulletin board. Users with modems may dial (703) 428-0864 for connections at 28,800 and below. Communications parameters should be no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and full duplex.
