This is a combined synposis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. All responsible sources may submit offer which ONI shall consider. The Office of Naval Intelligence has a requirement to procure 3 each Power Computing Powertower Pro 225 MHZ PowerPC 604e Processors. The salient characteristics are: 192 MB RAM, ULTRA SCSI 8 GB Internal Raid (2 internal 4GB striped AV hard drives), 8X speed CD-Rom drive, 1MB level 2 cache, 8MB IMS twin turbo 128 bit video card, IOMEGA internal 100MB zip drive, IOMEGA internal 1GB jaz drive, 6 PCI expansion slots, 9 front accessible drive bays, extended keyboard and mouse. Additionally, 3 each Radius Pressview 21 SR color monitors; 3 each Radius Pressview 17 SR color monitors; 3 each ASANTEFAST 10/100 PCI Ethernet Cards; 3 each AGFA Arcus II desktop scanners. Items to be delivered to 4251 Suitland Road, Washington, DC 20395-5720, FOB destination, within 30 days after receipt of order. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price, technical capability of the items, and past performance of the contractor.
