It is the intention of Western Area Power Administration, Golden CO, to contract with INCREMENTAL SYSTEMS, 4618-194TH AVE SE, ISSAQUAH, WA 98027, for software and hardware to emulate the character graphics software and hardware with X-terminal based high resolution workstations to be utilized to provide high speed remote consoles for an existing Harris M9000 Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System. The emulation hardware and software should be 100% compatible with the Harris hardware and software (i.e., the host cable is unplugged from the Harris console and re-connected to the gateway without being intrusive and requiring any software changes on the existing host SCADA system). The hardware and software shall be proven by being recommended by Harris and by demonstrated performance on an existing Harris M9000 SCADA system with high speed remote consoles. The proposed contract action is for one M9000 MM1 GATEWAY computer and WEDGE hardware and software, including training and installation, and proposed to purchase sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
