B -- PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT FEASIBILITY STUDY SOL RG-09-96 POC Contracting Officer, Gary Scales, N/A TVA intends to obtain the services of a qualified contractor to provide an evaluation of the development potential for commercial resort/recreation facilitieson 576 acres of TVA land on Watts Bar Reservoir in east Tennessee. The evaluation will include the feasibility for such development both with and withoutan integrated residential development component. The projected evaluation startdate is for early 1997. Proposers must be able to demonstrate the ability for conducting an in-depth analysis of the feasibility of public/commercial recreation development on largetracts ()200 acres) of land. Qualifications and capabilities must include previousdemonstrated experience in market studies and analyses, in-depth economic feasibility analyses, evaluation of land/site capability and suitability, and detailedfinancial analysis of development program alternatives. Proposers must also demonstrate prior experience with large tract evaluations in the areas of marketand feasibility analysis for residential development.
