202-307-3070. Community Corrections Center Services. Concerns having
the ability for providing community residential corrections facility(s)
services for male and female federal offenders. Interested offerors are
requested to give written notification (including telephone number and
a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice.
Services required to include care, custody, control accountability and
treatement, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical and
dental treatement. The services described shall be in accordance with
the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. This is an
indefinate-quantity type requirement and is anticipated to result in
the award of three separate contracts. Location of the facility shall
be in the geographically defined areas of Los Angeles and San Gabriel
Valley, California. The geographic district incorporating this area is
more precisely defined as follows: North: On its Northern Border, this
district would be defined by Interstate Highway 101, State Highway 118
and Interstate Highway 210. On it's Eastern Border, this district
would be defined by Interstate 605 to its intersection with State
Highway 210. On its Western Border, this district would be defined by
Las Virgenes Road and the Pacific Ocean. On its Southern Border, this
district would be defined by State Highway 42 and the Pacific Ocean.
Estimated total number of mandays for Line Items One, Two and Three is
5,110 males 6,935 females (min.) 14,235 males and 18,615 females
(max.) for the Baese Period; 5,475 males and 1,825 females (min) 14,235
males and 4,380 females (max.) for Option Year One; 5,840 males and
1,825 females (min.) 14,235 males and 4,380 females (max.) for Option
Year Two; 6,205 males and 2,190 females (min.) 14,235 males and 8,365
females (max.) for Option Year Three; and 6,570 males and 2,190 females
(min.) 14,235 males and 8,760 females (max.) for Option Year Four,
respectively. RFP issue date is December 9, 1996. Estiamted closing
date is February 7, 1997. Multiple awards may be made if doing so is
economically advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources
