Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to furnish a complete new telescopic hanger door section assembly (for the replacement of USCG 270' A Class hanger door) and all associated components for connecting to the existing hanger's lead section on the USCGC Bear (WMEC-901). The new replacement hanger door section assembly shall be identical or equal to the USCG 270' B Class hanger door, and meet the requirements outlined in MIL-D-24151. The contractor will use the Coast Guard TP-2839, Section 588, and Coast Guard Drawing 905 WMEC 588-010 as references. The contractor shall ship the new telescopic hanger door section assembly to the vessel's homepier. USCGC Bear's homepier is Portsmouth, VA. Telescopic hanger door section assembly must be shipped to arrive at vessel's homepier not later than April 1, 1997.
