U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Savannah River Operations Office (SRS), has determined that a Consolidated Support Service Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about December 4, 1996. Two awards are contemplated under this RFP, one under open competition and one as a set-aside for small business. (This RFP is the final version of the draft RFP published on July 8, 1996 and modifies the CBD announcement of September 3, 1996.) The work covered under the contemplated contracts will include all Technical and Administrative services currently being performed at SRS, including: High and Low Level Radioactive Waste Support; Engineering Support (non-nuclear); Environmental, Safety and Health Support; Environmental Management Support; ADP and Telecommunications Support; Safeguards and Security Support; Budget and Administrative Support.
