The contract action is to exercise Options 4, 5, and 12 on the Range Standardization and Automation IIA Contract awarded to Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems Company (formerly Loral Systems Company) on 21 Nov 95. Option 4, SubCLIN 0008AF Non-Developmental Items (NDI)-Range Deliverable Increment (RDI) is being exercised for the procurement of Non-Developmental software and hardware items for the Range Delivery Increment #1. This RDI 1 upgrades the capability for the processing of weather data in support of range hazard identification and management. Option 4, SubCLIN 0008BY NDI Items SLRS Integration, Test and Integration Support Facility (SITSIF) procures the hardware and software required to operate and maintain the SITSIF. Option 5 SubCLINS 0009AB, 0009AE, and 0009AF, RDI 1 is being exercised to manage, develop and procure software/hardware items required to support the functional capability of RDI 1. These capabilities include additional range instrumentation to continuously collect meteorological data along with the vehicle flight path and in the launch, reentry, and landing areas, and in surrounding areas. Option 12 CLIN 0016 SITSIF will design, develop, install and checkout segment elements of a SITSIF required to support integration, development test, and sustainment of SLRS products.
