Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Company (TOLIC) which is currently under contract with Health Care Financing Administration for Medicare Part B claim processing is requesting quotations for quality printing and mailing distribution services to support TOLIC's Medicare Part B newsletters. Objectives include, but are not limited to, the ability to perform the following functions: 1. Color printing. 2. Duplex printing. 3. Collation. 4. Stapling, or binding/fastening, or shrink-wrapping. 5. Address labelling. 6. Bulk mailing. The newsletter will be published six times a year. Cost estimates should be based on the following criteria: 1. Printing 20 to 100 pages. 2. Distributing 30,000 - 35,000 copies. 3. Complete the task in 6 to 10 days. Interested firms must submit a quotation along with capability statement and supporting documentation in writing to be received no later than December 1, 1996. Firms must be ready to perform by February 1, 1997. Responses will be reviewed and evaluated 70% on cost and 30% on ability to meet the specifications.
