Woodard,Contract Specialist, 301-496-6546 It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure Professional Audio and Video Services. Contractors are required to provide all or part of the services listed below: 1) Music; music selection; music rights; transferring music; mixing audio-for-video; sound effects; layover/layback 1''; narration recording; and audio track editing; 2) Multi-format and inter-format videotape editing and duplication; film-to-video transfers (still and motion imagery); digital and other special effects (3-D, etc.); 3) Slide and filmstrip duplication; slide graphic services; computer graphics and imaging for video; electronic image capture and transfer; 4) Paymaster services for video professional and technical personnel; equipment rental; set design and construction; make-up; costuming and props; field production crew; 5) D.R.A.W. videodisc mastering; and 6) Direction; program research and script writing; and talent. Multiple awards not to exceed $40,000 per order or $200,000 in aggregate, are anticipated. With the exception of companies providing D.R.A.W. videodisc mastering services, contractors are required to have their service facilities located within the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
