Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona for the period of January 1, 1997 thru December 31, 1997. Presently the only identified source is United Blood Services in Scottsdale, Arizona. Routine blood and blood products shall be delivered as specified within 24 hours following request. Except for rare units, augmented components shall be delivered within 3 hours of order. RBC's random platelets, single donor platelet pheresis (subject to availability), cryo and fresh frozen plasma shall be delivered STAT within one (1) hour. Interested vendors should submit proof of capability to satisfy the requirements. This synopsis is for planning purposes only, does not constitute an IFB/RFP. Information submitted shall be reviewed by the Contracting Officer and solicitations shall be issued to those vendors who have the potential of successfully meeting the requirements of the solicitation.
