The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a competitive solicitation for Command and Control Center Telecommunications Systems (C2CTS) in support of Department of Defense (DoD) C2 Centers. The system consoles to be acquired are telephone switching systems (PBX), telephone consoles, interface equipment for radio devices, and related equipment. The contractor will be required to engineer, furnish, install, and test the C2CTS systems as well as provide training for government representatives. All systems installed will be provided with a two year warranty. After cutover, the contractor may have to provide call-in maintenance support, remote maintenance support, possibly on-site support and provide spare parts for the life of the contract. In addition, the contractor may have to provide expanded services via a task order to expand, move, etc., the system. A firm fixed-price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is contemplated. The contract will have a one-year base period with four-one year options. It is anticipated that up to 30 systems will be required under this solicitation. Installation locations will include, but not be limited to, the following areas: United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Japan, Panama and United States of America including its U.S. Territories. Alternate proposals will not be solicited. The request for proposal is expected to be released on or about 11 Dec 96. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 4812 and the Small Business Size Standard for this SIC Code is 1,500 employees. All interested offerors shall indicate their business size (large, small or small disadvantaged), their telephone number, telefax number, and ZIP PLUS FOUR in their written request for the RFP.
