202/482-1512. The Royal Norwegian Air Force Materiel Command invites
bids for the provision of 14 medium power amplifiers (MPAs) with scope
of work to include providing 14 medium power amplifiers with Dummy
Loads, installation and testing to be carried out at 12 different radio
sites in Norway, provision of spare parts, codification and
documentation, provision of special tools and test equipment, training
and transportation and insurance. The MPAs shall provide ECM resistant
transmission, and shall use Link-11 as data link. High gain antennas,
antenna cables, remote control equipment and control lines are already
implemented as part of the SSSB-project. The 10 kW EIPR requirement
for the MPA system for transmission of Link-11 signals is a maximum
value, and shall include selectable reductions to 4 kW, 2 kW, 1 kW and
0.5 kW. The RF amplifier output power will be approximately 2 kW (for
max power) when taking the gain of the existing antennas and cable
loss into account. Applicants must have NATO confidential clearance and
must be certified to compete in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of
