This is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Trimble Navigation Ltd to obtain upgrade equipment to the Trimble 4000 series receivers for NOAA/NOS/NGS, Instrumentation and Methodologies Branch, Corbin, Virginia. Items required are: CLIN 0001 - GPSurvey Upgrade, Item 22234.01, Qty: 2 each; CLIN 0002 - SSE Firmware Upgrade, Item 20411.11, Qty: 26 each; CLIN 0003 - GPSurvey Keys with activation disks for Base, Faststatic, Trimnet Plus, Coordinate Transformer and Kinematic, 13 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals within fifteen days of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
