70 -- UOES CONFIGURATION SIMULATION SYSTEM SOL N00178-97-R-4007 DUE 010397 POC Betty B. Kniceley, (540)653-7621/Dwight G. Cooper. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division has a requirement for fully integrated UOES configuration AEGIS simulation systems. The systems are comprised of commercial hardware and software, mainly Digital Equipment Corporation products. The systems include commercial Naval Tactical Data System (NTDS) interfaces. Specified commercial components must be included in the systems to meet the Government's compatibility requirements and to ensure upgradability to an ACSIS Rehost System (Digital Equipment Corporation model number CT-ACSIS-EK). Systems shall be accompanied by at least a one-year on-site warranty, 24 hour per day, 7 days per week. Quantity will range from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 4 systems. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. FAR Part 12 will be utilized. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia and the AEGIS Combat Systems Center, Wallops Island, Virginia. Delivery shall be within 120 days after receipt of order. Solicitation will be issued approximately 29 November 1996. Solicitation will close 30 days after issuance.
