HUD intends to award one contract to provide management and related services for single family properties which are owned by or in the custody of HUD in the geographic are described as Chicago Area 26 - from 87th Street North to 111th Street South to Lake Michigan East and to the City limits of Chicago West. This area is currently known as Chicago Areas 26 and 27 and are under separate contracts. Contract award as a result of this RFP combines Chicago Areas 26 and 27 and the new area is named Chicago Area 26. The current estimated inventory for the combined area is approximately 125 HUD-owned and 28 custodial properties. The contractor shall be required to perform professional management services which requires day to day services in the form of inspections, debris removal, lawn maintenance, winterization, etc. This is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 6531. The size standard is $1.5 million. The term of the contract is for one base year with two (2) one year option periods.
