Facility at Bangor International Airport (ANG), Bangor, Maine,
SOL-DAHA17-97-B-0001. Furnish all materials, equipment and labor
associated with the construction of a Squadron Operations/AGU Facility
located at Bangor International Airport, Bangor, Maine for the Maine
Air National Guard. Work consists of construction of a 2 story 40,300
SF building with reinforced concrete slab and foundation, structural
steel frame, steel trusses on steel columns: single ply fully adhered
membrane roofing system over steel deck on open web steel joists;
exterior walls are brick veneer on an insulated steel stud backup with
gypsum wall finished on the inside; interior wall of CMU, gypsum wall
board and plaster; suspended acoustical ceilings, interlock preaction,
air supervised, dry pipe sprinkler system and wet pipe sprinkler
system; radio frequency (RF) shielded enclosure; compressed air system;
500 KVA pad mounted transformer; lighting systems,
electrical/voice/data distribution and controls to include cable trays
and underfloor raceway system, equipment grounding systems, oil fired
heating system, a fully integrated Building Management & Control
system incorporating Direct Digital Control (DCC), energy management,
equipment monitoring and control consisting of Microcomputer based
controllers, automatic dampers, automatic control valves and operator
station computer software; chilled water system, air handling and
distribution system; security system; closed circuit wiring system,
intrusion alarm system; fire alarm system; specialty casework console
systems for Command & Control Centers, Crisis Action Center, Command
Post, and Maintenance Control centers designed and manufactured to
receive Government Furnished audio-visual systems; bituminous concrete
parking lot and access road, loading dock, construct water and sewer
service; construct foundations and install (1) 150' free standing and
(1) building mounted 50' communications tower antennae; provide site
grading and drainage; certain equipment will be furnished by the
Government. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
Plans, specifications and bidding documents will be available on or
about 23 DEC 96. Cost of solicitation materials is $75.00. Make
non-refundable check or money order payable to Accounting and Finance
Officer, and sent same to Rik V. Phillips, Purchasing and Contracting
Division, USPFO For Maine, Building #39, Camp Keyes, Augusta, Maine
04333-0032. Bid opening date and time is scheduled for 10 Feb 97 at
1:00 PM local time. Project completion date is 545 days after issuance
of a Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
