The Government intends to contract for architect-engineer services for CR No. 14951, Repair Fueling Pier H, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii. This contract action is for engineering services for continuing post construction award services and to redesign the bulkhead repairs at Wharf H5, which is located adjacent to Pier H. Prepare drawings, specifications and cost estimate for the repairs to Wharf H5. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the Architect-Engineer firm of Moffatt & Nichol Engineers since they are the original designer of record, have the knowledge, historical background and the experienced personnel to complete the work, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The estimated cost is less than $100,000. Estimated start date is 30 December 1996. Interested persons may identify their interest before 8 November 1996. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0319)
