Michael Dodd, Code SEA02522, (703)602-7900 ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement to incorporate the Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder into the MK-46 Optical Sight (OS). This requirement will be a change order to NAVSEA Contract N00024-90-C-5655. The MK-46 OS is a major component of the MK-160 Gun Weapon System (GWS) aboard DDG-51 Class Ships. Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), NAVSEA intends to procure the above mentioned requirement, and all the applicable Level III drawings, from Kollmorgen Corporation, 347 King Street, Northampton, MA 01060-2390, the original designer, developer, and sole producer of the MK-46 MOD 0 OS.
