McBride, 334-953-3514 This office has a requirement for purchase, installation, training, and maintenance of an audiovisual system for two classrooms. The following is a representative system on a brand name or equal basis: (a) NEC XG-110 data/video projector (2 EA); (b) NEC 6010 multisync switcher (2 EA); (c) Smart Board (2 EA); (d) System II presenter camera system, Parker-Vision CameraMan (2 EA); (e) TOA A-906 60 watt amplifier (2 EA); (f) KSI 8081 CS T-70-8 ceiling speakers (8 EA); (g) Elmo EV-500 visualizer (2 EA); (h) DaLite #74603 podium (2 EA); (i) DaLite screen #76020 (2 EA); (j) AMX Axcent RF remote control system (2 EA); and (k) TECH Commander (1 EA). The two-step sealed bidding method will be used for this acquisition. A request for technical proposal will be furnished to all firms who respond to this synopsis. SOL will only be issued to the firms that submit acceptable technical proposals in the first step. Technical proposals shall not include pricing or pricing information. Technical proposals must meet minimum salient characteristics. Award will be made to the lowest bidder on step two. Step one proposal opens on or about 9 Dec 96 and closes on or about 13 Jan 97.
