Goodling, Contracting Officer, Phone: (301) 443-6677, Fax: (301) 443-7595, EMail: kg25d@nih.gov The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having in-house capability to perform screening of in vitro transporter binding and uptake assays utilizing cells transfected with human dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine transporters. Proprietary test compounds will be evaluated in established assays, and the resulting data will be utilized by the Cocaine Treatment Discovery Program of the NIDA Medications Development Division. Offerors must indica te possession of current DEA registration for Schedule II-V substances prior to award and have applied for Schedule I registration at the time of award. It is anticipated that one (1) cost reimbursement, completion type contract will be awarded for a period of three years, with two options each for an additional year, as well as additional quantity options.
