Wargo, Microgravity Science and Applications Division, Code UG, NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC 20546 NASA Research Announcement (NRA): The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is interested in receiving proposals for basic experimental and theoretical research using microgravity to advance scientific knowledge and technology in materials science. In addition, proposals are sought to provide a fundamental understanding of physical and chemical processes in extraterrestrial environments, such as local resource utilization, radiation protection materials, welding and joining, and energy conversion and storage.
