The work includes providing all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and management services necessary to inspect and maintain capstans, perform capstan load test and perform specific maintenance to capstans at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The work identified to be provided by means of a Combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The contract term shall be for a period of one year. The government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options, shall not exceed 60 months. Plans and specifications will be made available on or about December 9, 1996.
