Z -- INSTALL KITCHEN VENTILATION IN 4A ROOM 120D AND 6A ROOM 104 SOL 542-5-97 DUE 010397 POC John Cox, Contracting Officer, 610-383-0203 Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to install a kitchen ventilation systems in Building 4 Room 120D and Building 6 Room 104, at the VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA. Work in both buildings includes installing a complete ventilation system consisting of the following major components: Stainless steel ventilator hood suspended from structural slab above; stainless steel baffle type filters; stainless steel grease container; stainless steel interior exhaust duct installed concealed above the suspended ceiling; galvanized steel exhaust duct installed exposed on the building exterior above the roof cornice; exhauster mounted on top of the exterior duct; wet chemical fire extinguisher system; stainless steel insulated wall panel; finished stainless steel enclosure paneling and trim hood to ceiling; interface for appliance power shut-off; interface for fire alarm system activation and furnish all required hardware. The entire system shall comply with and be approved by Y.F.P.A. 96, N.S.F DOO 32 and U.L. 2849. The estimated cost range for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. Solicitations will be mailed to prime contractors only, due to a limited supply. Requests from prime contractors must be in writing and may be faxed to the Contracting Officer at 610-383-0235. Interested prime contractors should, as soon as possible, but not later than fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as a prime contractor. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bids, and will be available for issuance not earlier than fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, but within thirty (30) calendar days thereafter. Any subcontractors requesting a copy of the solicitation will be sent a copy of the bidder's mailing list. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1711. The applicable Small Business Size Standard, including affiliates, is no more than $7 million average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Each requesting business must provide its Federal Tax Identification Number to be included with its written request.
