The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking interested sources to provide logistics support for United States Navy (USN) Aviation Weapon Systems sold to foreign countries under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The initial procurement will be to support the H2. The support required to meet the foreign country's operational requirements includes but is not limited to: procuring spares/ repair/parts, providing material management/staging services/ freight forwarding/inspection and receipt, processing Repair Of Repairable orders, performing Standard Depot Level Maintenance, providing technical and administrative data, field engineering services, upgrades and modifications to the systems, support equipment and providing aircrew training services. A Presolicitation Conference is scheduled for December 10 and 11, 1996 at the Station Theater, Bldg 1495, Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD. Registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.. Allow additional time for processing through the security office for base admission. The purpose of the conference is to: 1) Explain the objectives and goals of this program 2) Discuss the existing H2 platform and other potential platforms 3) Discuss the tasks associated with this effort.
