The instruments will be used to make simultaneous quantitative determinations of specific analytes in whole blood by clinicians as they evaluate patients. It is this Medical Center's intent to solicit and negotiate with i-STAT Corporation under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify interest and capability to provide this instrument. All responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
