A -- COMMON MISSILE WARNING SYSTEM INTEGRATION LABS SOL DAAB07-97-R-D313 DUE 010797 POC Sharon Wilson, Contract Specialist, 908-427-6094, Johanna T. Hersch, Contracting Officer. This is a sole-source acquisition to Sanders, A Lockheed Martin Company, Countermeasure Division, the developer of the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (E&MD) Model of the Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasure/Common Missile Warning System (ATIRCM/CMWS). Sanders is currently the only contractor to design, develop and fabricate the CMWS System Integration Lab (SIL) which is being procured under the EMD Program. The SIL will be utilized at their facility to perform software development, hardware/software integration and system performance testing on the CMWS. This acquisition is to procure up to ten (10) additional SIL's for testing at the Prime Aircraft contractors facilities. The SILs will be used throughout the Developmental and Evaluation Testing, Operational Test and Evaluation and the Follow-on Operational Test and Evaluation phases of the EMD Program. Sanders is the only company that can design and build the additional SILs which would be compatible to their design. The period of performance will be approximately 60 months and this acquisition will be a cost type modification to the Contract No. DAAB07-95-C-D606. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0323)
