D -- OFFICE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT/INSTALLATION IN UKRAINE SOL DSWA01-97-M-0136 POC David Staudt, Negotiator, (703) 325-9210, Edward L. Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028. This effort is part of an ongoing Department of Defense (DoD) Cooperative Threat Reduction Program (CTR) of which the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) is assisting. The objective of this effort is to provide office automation equipment to the Ukrainian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety. This effort will provide for additional equipment needed that was not procured and installed under the base contract. The equipment needed is a limited variety of office automated equipment, spares, and expendable items to maintain operation of such equipment. The contractor will procure and install the equipment on site in Ukraine. The contemplated period of performance is five months. DSWA plans to award a sole source purchase award to Mega-Tech, Inc. under contract DSWA01-97-M-0136. DSWA believes that Mega-Tech, Inc. posseses the existing expertise to adapt this specific requirement to meet this program requirement within the time required by DSWA and available funding.
