automated burner management system on-board the Ready Reserve Force
(RRF) vessel SS Curtiss at Port Hueneme, CA in accordance with the
specifications. The period of performance is estimated to be 60 days
material procurement and assembly; and 60 days on board installation.
Any interested firm may request a copy of the solicitation by sending
a written or facsimile request. No telephone requests will be accepted.
All responsible bidders may submit bids which shall be considered by
the Agency. The Maritime Administration requires that to be eligible
for award under this solicitation offerors must: Be holders of the
MARAD Master Lump Sump Repair Agreement (MLSRA) or shall apply for and
agree to the terms and conditions of the MLSRA. Bidders may accept the
MLSRA with their bid; nonholders shall provide annual representations
and certifications as required by the MLSRA. NOTE: For Minority,
Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of
Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU) has a program to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are
available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
