INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY MULTI TRADES CONSTRUCTION.
Award of a competitively bid, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract is being considered for miscellaneous general construction
services as required during a 9 month period with three additional one
year option periods. This indefinite quantity contract is for
miscellaneous minor construction, alterations, maintenance, repair and
other incidental related work on U.S. Coast Guard Facilities located
in Monterey - Santa Cruz Area. The work involves various construction
trades to perform work, including but is not limited to site work,
concrete, masonry, metal, wood, doors and windows, finishes, thermal
and moisture protection, mechanical, electrical, roofing and special
construction. The contractor shall provide all labor, material,
equipment, supervision, transportation and all other incidental items
to meet the requirements of work orders issued by the Contracting
Officer. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $50,000
minimum and $1,000,000 maximum per calendar year. Drawings and
Specifications will be issued for each project. Only written requests

disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
