Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECTS AND RELATED WORK, PROVIDENCE DISTRICT SOL 082530-97-A-0016 DUE 122096 POC Michael Kenney, Architect Engineer (401) 444-1421 On or about Wednesday, November 20, 1996, the United States Postal Service, Windsor Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT will issue a solicitation for an indefinite quantity construction contract for roof replacement projects and related work for the Providence District Office (State of Rhode Island, Counties of Barnstable, Bristol, Nantucket, Dukes, Norfolk, and Plymouth, State of Massachusetts.) Proposals are due on Friday, December 20, 1996 no later than 4:00 p.m. The terms of the contract will be for two years. Work will be defined on work orders issued, as required, for various amounts and types. Initial contract value will not exceed $1,000,000.00 for two years. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE CONTRACT. The indefinite quantity contract resulting from this solicitation will include services for roof repairs and other related work for all types of roofs. The work may be performed at any USPS owned or leased facility located within the geographic area covered by the Providence District (as noted above).
