interior office space and reconstruction of new facilities for the U.S.
Courts (Courtroom, 2 judge's suites, Clerk of Court office) and the
Marshal service (squad room and detention area) and will require the
entire range of architectural, mechanical, and electrical work normally
encountered in a major interior alteration. In addition a new hydraulic
elevator and van sallyport is to be constructed. The entire building
will be provided with a new sprinkler system, and a new fire alarm
system, and have asbestos abatement, and seismic retrofit and complete
interior and exterior painting. The proposed procurement is Normal
Full and Open. The cost Range is between: $1 to $5 Million. The
estimated construction time is 270 calendar days. Specifications will
be limited to three (3) sets per contractor based on availability. All
requests for specifications and bidder mailing list must be made in
writing to the contracting office listed above, to the attention of
Elizabeth Worley. Telephone requests are not acceptable. Specifications
will be available for review at local plan rooms, Bldg. Exchange, F. W.
Dodge, GSA office of Enterprise Development - Region 4 and the Building
Managers Office. Government acceptance time will be Sixty (60) calendar
