Hurlburt Field, FL, intends to purchase open market, using simplified acquisition procedures, a portable display exhibit for use as a night vision goggle (NVG) room. The 2,700 square foot exhibit will include 3 separate areas - an NVG room approximately 10'x15', a seating/viewing area approximately 10'x12' to accommodate 8-12 chairs, and a triangular display tower 4'x12' tall. The NVG room must be opaque to provide a black-out operational environment (cannot allow external light to penetrate the interior confines), and include interior electric lights for use during non-NVG operations. The entire exhibit must be free-standing, portable and lightweight for easy assembly, disassembly, and storage. Set-up time should take no longer than 2.5 hours and three personnel using detailed instructions to be provided. Storage containers cannot exceed 4'x4'x10' and must be transportable. Estimated usage of the exhibit will be minimum of 5 assemblies per year over a 5-year period, and must be able to withstand set up and tear down for that time period. The primary location for usage will be for set up inside of larger structures, such as convention centers or hangars. The interior can be made of wood, metal or plastic material, the exterior must be a cloth hook and loop material to allow for display of pictures attached with hook and loop materials. Both interior and exterior shall be black in color, with a 12''-15'' gold veneer panel on top of the outside walls of the NVG room to allow for use of ARTY letters. Fire and safety codes are applicable, and wall coverings must be fire retardant.
