Transportation, Disposal, and Technology vendors are hereby requested to provide information to support on-site removal action. Limit responses to two pages of technology and service information, in addition to Company brochure. Transportation and Disposal will include an EPA estimated maximum of one hundred seventy five thousand cubic feet of radium gauges; and other radium debris and hardware, including aircraft instruments. Radium gauges contain up to sixteen microcuries per gram. Decontamination technologies are required to remove radium contamination from the hardware. Information on volume reduction technologies is also requested. (324)
