J -- POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT - BASE OPERATING SUPPORT (BOS) CONTRACT, NAVAL SECURITY STATION, WASHINGTON, DC SOL N62477-96-R-0134 DUE 120296 POC Steven Moody, Contracting Officer, (202) 685-3221 or smoody@efaches.navfac.navy.mil MARKET SURVEY - In consideration of a possible total small business set-aside for proposed Base Operating Support (BOS) Contract at the Naval Security Station, Washington, DC, solicitation N62477-96-R-0134, the Government is conducting a market survey to determine if there are small businesses capable of and interested in pursuing this contract. The solicitation is intended to obtain all management, administration, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment to provide base operating support services at the Naval Security Station (NSS), Washington, DC. The NSS is located on a 38 acre compound in northwest Washington, DC, approximately 5 miles northwest of the US Capitol. NSS includes approximately 40 buildings and approximately 15 acres of improved grounds. The base performance period is 12 months with options to extend not to exceed 60 months including the base period. Estimated cost for the project exceeds $10 Million. The SIC Code is 8744. The contract will be acquired thru formal source selection procedures. Evaluation will be based on price, past performance, and technical proposals. Interested Small Business Concerns must reply by 2 December 1996. You must address ALL of the following in your response: List those contracts which you have successfully performed which encompassed at least 9 of the following 14 services/disciplines under the SAME contract: 1-facility maintenance and repair (including facilities management, service calls, work control and scheduling, planning and estimating, facility inspections, preventive maintenance, utilities operations and maintenance) 2-engineering and design services 3-refuse collection/hazardous waste disposal/recycling support 4-grounds and surfaced areas maintenance 5-pest control services 6-vehicle maintenance, dispatching, and cleaning 7-supply support 8-base protection services (including guard services, security system maintenance, escort services and security services in top secret work areas, which includes guards and escorts with top secret and ''yankee white'' clearances) 9-fire protection services 10-ADP services/management 11-Morale Welfare Recreation (MWR) services/management 12-duplication/publications/graphic arts/photographic/audio-visual services 13-safety services/management 14-environmental services/management. For each contract listed above, provide the project number, title, location, status, short description of work, a point of contact who can discuss your performance under the contract (please ensure a current telephone number) and start and completion dates; indicate if the experience was as a prime or subcontractor.
