Code DACW64) The work consists of the removal of approximately
2,097,000 cubic yards of shoaled material from 129,000.00 linear feet
of project channel width of 125-235 feet and to a required depth of 14
to 16 feet (below mean low tide) and 2 feet of allowable overdepth.
The work will also include removal of approximately 49,000 cubic yards
of shoal material from 2,000 lineal feet of water exchange channel
over a channel width of 100 feet and to a required depth of 5 feet
below mean low tide. It will also be necessary to reconstruct
approximately 100,000 lineal feet of earthen levee, and relocate five
(5) and repair three (3) existing spillways. Barrier fabric is not
required. The cost for one set of plans and specifications: (Full Size)
$49.00; (Half Size) $29.50 (non-refundable). Subcontracting goals for
the Galveston District are: 52.5% Small Business; 8.8% Small
Disadvantaged Business; and 3.0% Woman-Owned Small Business. Price
