Guard is seeking qualified sources that can provide (1) Stock Number
3940-01-354-3813, Block, Tackle, 3 Sheave, P/N 8000979, Estimated Qty.
30 each, (2) Stock Number 3940-01-297-3267, Block Tackle, 2 Sheave,
P/N 8001184, Estimated Qty. 18 each, (3) Stock Number 3940-01-366-4977,
Block Tackle, 1 Sheave, P/N 8000771, Estimated Qty. 15 each, (4) Stock
Number 3020-01-426-3855, Sheave Wheel, P/N 8001197, Estimated Qty. 12
each. This is a requirements type contract for one base year and four
optional years. Delivery to be made to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering
Logistics Center, Warehouse Annex, Columbia, MD. It is the Government's
belief that only Crosby McKissick can provide the Tackle Block as
described above. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to the
Tackle Block are not available within the Government and are
proprietary to Original Equipment Manufacturer, Crosby McKissick or
their authorized distributors. However, other potential sources having
the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data
discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this
announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate
the acceptability of the offered repair: 1) Complete and current
engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts
(i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics,
or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured
for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. No cost or
pricing data is required. See Numbered Note 22. All responsible sources
may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. THIS IS

Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Onwed and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation
(DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged
business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance
for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
